Dress Code and Uniform

At Stella Maris, we believe that a well-defined dress code is essential in promoting a positive and respectful learning environment. Our uniform policy is designed to cultivate a sense of community, pride, and professionalism among our students while reflecting the core values of our school.

We also emphasize the importance of treating the body with dignity, as it is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

We are pleased to announce that Stella Maris will be introducing the same logo as our brother schools in Madrid, fostering a stronger sense of connection within our broader educational community.

Please note that the current Mater Salvatoris uniform will be grandfathered in for existing students as part of a gradual transition.

Only uniform ties can be purchased directly at the school.

We have created a custom website to order School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger with one primary goal in mind – to make your shopping experience simple and stress-free. Please take a moment to read the instructions below.

When blazers are taken off in the classroom, they will be properly hung on the student’s chair. (For example, the shoulders of the blazers meet the corners of the chair. Blazers MUST have their first and last name clearly visible on the inside of their blazer.)

Formal Events

For special events such as school Masses, presentations, or formal gatherings, students are expected to wear their complete formal uniform (blazer, dress shirt, tie, and uniform pants).

Casual Days

On winter casual days, boys are expected to come to school wearing their tie, blazer, long pants, black shoes, and grey socks.

During casual days in the summer, boys are expected to wear their polo shirt and blazer (no tie), along with black shoes and grey socks, long pants or shorts*, black shoes, and grey socks.

*NOTE: If boys are wearing long pants, grey socks may be short. When wearing short pants, grey socks should be knee-length.

Formal Days

On formal days, boys are expected to come to school wearing their tie, blazer, shorts or long pants, black shoes, and grey socks. The school will specify in advance whether boys should wear long pants or short pants for particular events. If the class has P.E. scheduled that day, gym clothes should be brought in a bag for them to change into.
