The Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary have been in Stamford since 2021, collaborating with the Mater Salvatoris school.
In 2022, they were entrusted with leading the boys’ division of the school at Mater Salvatoris.
A year later, in 2023, further solidifying their presence in Stamford, they assumed responsibility for St. Leo Parish.
Currently, the disciple community in Stamford is composed of four Disciples: three dedicated to the school and one serving as parish priest.
This is the third community in the United States where the disciples have carried out pastoral work in parishes and schools for over two decades.
